Sacramento
Sacramento is the seat of the government for the state of California. Its rich history as a town that gained power during the California gold rush, and leveraged its location between the Pacific Ocean and Sierra Nevada mountains to maintain this power. Today its location provides a perfect central location for visitors to take trips to the coast and Bay Area, or head east to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.
